You send JSON; Aivi renders it like Apple designed it. Progress bars, monitors, live timers: pick a template, choose an icon and colors, and your dishwasher suddenly has better UI than most apps. Updates animate in place, and timers keep ticking between them.

Animates without updates
Timers tick and progress rings fill entirely on their own. Predictable widgets pre-render their future, so a countdown stays live without costing a single update.
Eleven ready-made templates
Status, gauge, progress, trend, countdown, list, batteries, prices, energy, budget, and switchboard. Pick the shape that fits your data, send it numbers. The layout is already done. Every display template has a Home Assistant blueprint: point a sensor at it and it lands as a Lock Screen widget, not only as a Live Activity.
Widgets require iOS 26. Real-time moments are still Live Activities' job; widgets are the always-there layer.
Switchboard

The switchboard widget puts up to eight buttons and toggles on your Home Screen. A press goes straight to your own system, which does the work and tells the tile what is true. Try it.
Tiles that don't pretend
A pressed toggle takes a faint fill of its new color until your system confirms the change. No confirmation within 15 seconds, and it says so. What you see is what your home says.
Scenes and switches
A button runs a scene, a toggle flips a light or opens the garage. Up to eight tiles per widget, wired to Home Assistant or anything else that can take a request.

What is Aivi?
Aivi is an iPhone app that turns HTTP requests into Live Activities and widgets, with no app of your own and no push certificates. Your server, a script, or Home Assistant sends a small JSON payload. Live Activities show up on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, on Apple Watch, and in CarPlay; widgets stay on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and watch face.
Can I send a Live Activity without building my own app?
Yes, that's what Aivi is for. It handles Apple's push service for you.
Sign in and start your free week in the app to get an API token, create
an activity or widget, and send a PATCH request whenever
something changes. With Home Assistant, a ready-made blueprint does the request for you.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone on iOS 18.4 or later. Widgets need iOS 26. Aivi is for Apple devices only; there is no Android app.
Is there a free plan, and what are the limits?
There is one paid plan, and the first week is free. It covers 5 Live Activities running at once, 20 widgets, and up to 5 people sharing each activity or widget, who pay nothing.
What data does Aivi store?
Your account, the devices you use Aivi on, and the content you send for each activity or widget, stored in the EU. Nothing is shared with third parties for advertising, and crash reports are anonymous. Deleting your account from the Settings tab removes your data. See the privacy policy.
